Bodrum is one of the most beautiful towns in Turkey. Although due to over development it lost its maiden innocence after it was discovered a few decades ago. Still it is a town people fall in love with and decide to spend the rest of their lives. That is the reason there are so many new homes built in here. It has beautiful beaches, numerous shops, restaurants, bars, and night clubs. Hundreds of boats line up in the marina and at the pier and prove the wealth of their owners. In some sense it is like New York, noisy, and crowded but rich, lively, and exciting. For those who like quiet places at night there are smaller less known towns in the vicinity of Bodrum.

The visitors may enjoy eating at the downtown restaurants, which have outdoor tables by the sea or in the sea, or at the pier. They watch the Bodrum Castle with sea as a back drop at night. They can listen to the barely noticeable, soothing sound of waves since sea in these coves is so calm. If they want they can dance at night clubs and shop around downtown where hundreds of shops line up on the streets. They can stroll on the streets in downtown where they will hear all kinds of languages some of them they can recognize: English, French, German, and Russian.
