Bamberg in Germany is a town in Bavaria at the River Regnitz and has 71000 inhabitants. Its historic city center is a listed UNESCO world heritage site.

It takes a 2 hour train ride from Frankfurt am Main to get there.

Bamberg is located around 63 km north of Nuremberg and 101 km east of Würzburg

The town has seven hills, called the Cathedral Hill, Michaelsberg, Kaulberg/Obere Pfarre, Stefansberg, Jakobsberg, Altenburger Hill and Abtsberg. On each is built a beautiful church.
