SNARTEMOSVERDET
The Viking sword is part of the findings from the farm Snartemo. The Snartemosverdet from around 500 B.C. was found when land was being newly cultivated in 1933. A large stone slab had a cavity underneath which contained a stately tomb from the early 500’s with a graced sword that later became known as the Viking sword.
