Climate Turkey

Climate depends on the region and it is very diverse. The Aegean and Mediterranean regions are hot and dry in the summers and warm in the winters. The Black Sea region is warm in the summers, rainy and mild in the winters. Central Anatolia is hot and dry in the summers and cold in the winters. Eastern Anatolia has long winters. It snows more in the Eastern Anatolia than the other regions and summers are mild. Southeastern Anatolia is hot in the summers and rainy and mild in the winters. The average precipitation is between 22.83 – 51.18 in (580 – 1300 mm) for the whole country.
