Geography Turkey

Turkey has a total area of 301,513 square miles (780,580 square Kilometers), including 3,793 square miles (9,820 square kilometers) of water. It has 4,475 miles (7,200 kilometers) of coastline on the Mediterranean, Aegean, Black Seas, and the Sea of Marmara. Elevation varies between 1,969 and 3,937 feet (600 and 1200 meters). As you go to the East it increases.

It has seven geographical areas, namely, the Aegean Sea region (the Western Anatolia), the Marmara region, the Black Sea region, the Eastern Anatolia region, the Southeastern Anatolia region, the Mediterranean Sea region, and the Central Anatolia region.
