The Beck Isle museum which is located in the centre of the town is well worth a visit to gain a more comprehensive insight of the town’s history. The stunning stately home of Castle Howard and the coastal resorts of Robin Hoods Bay, Filey, Scarborough and Whitby are also within easy reach.
