Located in the heart of the Yorkshire Moors Easingwold is a charming market town located conveniently just to the north of the historic city of York. The city is ideal for a peaceful stay but also has great transport links so you can enjoy all the highlights of the famous city without staying amongst the noise and crowds.

Don’t worry about being bored as despite the sleepy appearance of the town there are plenty of activities to keep you busy. For golfers Easingwold has two excellent courses and for those preferring to indulge in some country pursuits then both coarse and game fishing are available by day ticket at a large number of both natural lakes and planned ponds. The area is also excellent for riding, a quality livery is widely available and there’s a well maintained network of bridleways so the beautiful rural landscape can easily be discovered on horseback.
The town’s amenities are good and the streets are dotted with independent shops selling jewellery, clothes and souvenirs. As for accommodation Easingwold has a good mix of accommodation from B&Bs to Caravan Parks.
