Norway Map had 19 Counties, 11 Counties and 15 Counties for different periods of time.
Before 2018, there are 19 counties in Norway, which are Akershus, Buskerud, East Agder, Finnmark, Hedmark, Hordaland, Møre og Romsdal, Nordland, Nord-Trøndelag, Oppland, Oslo, Østfold, Rogaland, Sogn og Fjordane, Sør-Trøndelag, Telemark, Troms, Vestfold, and West Agder.
In 2017 the government decided to reduce the number of counties from 19 to 11, which was implemented on 1 January 2020. These 11 counties are Agder, Innlandet, Møre og Romsdal, Nordland, Oslo, Rogaland, Troms og Finnmark, Trøndelag, Vestfold og Telemark, Vestland, and Viken.
However, the government has declared that from 1 January 2024 there will be 15 counties in the country after opposition emerged after emerging counties. The Viken county will be replaced by Østfold, Akershus, and Buskerud; Østfold, Akershus, Buskerud by Vestfold and Telemark; Troms og Finnmark by Troms and Finnmark.
The current 15 Counties are Agder, Akershus, Buskerud, Finnmark, Innlandet, Møre og Romsdal, Nordland, Oslo, Østfold, Rogaland, Telemark, Troms, Trøndelag, Vestfold, and Vestland.
