German Wine Route: Burrweiler Germany

Burrweiler has 860 inhabitants and an area of 6,3km². It was first documentary mentioned in 1275 as “Bubenwilre”.

The catholic church is a late gothic building from 1525 with interior from renaissance times, pulpit and baptism font from 1605, medieval steeple with baroque top, grave site for the House of Dahn.

Burrweiler has numerous buildings from the 16th – 18th century.
