Ungstein in Germany, a village with 1350 inhabitants was first documentary mentioned in the Weissenburg codex in 714 as “Unchesstagni”. Ungstein was a franconian settlement from the clan of “Unko”.

Two roman houses and a roman winery where found during a land consolidation in 1981, due to discovered coins it can be said that the complex was destroyed around 500 AD.
