Bingley in West Yorkshire lies just north of Bradford and directly to the South of the Yorkshire Dales, easily reached via the motorway network it is the gateway to some of the most beautiful countryside in England.

Set in the heart of Bronte country Bingley has many places of interest for visitors, with steam trains, canal boats and water mills. It has an ancient market hall and plenty of interesting shops, cafes and bars. There is also the impressive 16th Century All Saints Church which was referenced in the Doomsday Book. Bingley is on the Leeds-Liverpool canal route, the canals are used mainly for recreation and colourful boats and barges can be seen meandering to and fro. The famous five rise locks are a local awesome feature on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal. They are the steepest staircase locks in the country!
